This is a great best of Clapton album it has some great songs on it. There are a lot of popular songs and some that are not so well know. the album over all is good but and there is always a but it is not all of the songs that everyone knows from Cream or Clapton.
I ordered the cd I believe on a Wed.or on late Tuesday night and recieved it on Sat. Which was several days early when I was told to except the Cd. Also, the cd was just like new cd in quality both in the quality of the sound to the artwork included in the cd. All of this made me every happy, because I recieved a better quality product than I excepted for the price that I paid for it.
This US version also has a Blind Faith track - Presence of the Lord, that is not on the British release. This is a very good compilation of Clapton's music, which includes very little of the later more middle of the road output, much of which is just not up to the standard of the early work. Some choice Cream tracks, Derek and the Dominos, early solo work. Highly recommended as a good overview of classic Clapton. Buy John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton as well, to get an insight into why Clapton was so revered over 30 years ago
$10 for this CD is a steal. Buy a copy for everyone in your family and teach them what real music is.
YEP. Really , someone tell the RECORD LABEL or CLAPTON."to add this song at the bottom of this track list in a remaster or re-print". Clapton left off his HOME-RUN ( the song ), off this album. Man. This is like BABE RUTH without a baseball-bat. That just doesn't score very many points. ONLY 4 STARS.
